Sarah Grace Sweet

Sarah Grace Sweet was born 13 Jan 1799 in Hoosick, Rensselaer, New York to Amos Sweet Amos was originally believed to be the son of Amos Sweet Sr. and Elizabeth Straight, but this is not true. Amos and Elizabeth Straights son married Mercy Carpenter and after his death their family eventually moved to Quebec, Canada. Sarah Grace's mother is Dorcas, unknown parentage. However, in 1790 there is only one person in the USA Census, Alexander Dorcas in southern New York.
